Sister Squad outreach service is a direct response to compelling research published in March 2022 by the Agenda Alliance & Young Women's Justice Project. Trauma-Informed Training
At The Daddyless Daughters Project CIC, we understand the deep and lasting effects that childhood trauma can have on vulnerable young people and families. Our goal is to equip those supporting girls with complex needs and behaviour patterns with the knowledge to understand how trauma has shaped their identities, lives, and choices.
We offer bespoke trauma-informed training packages, specifically tailored to address the challenges your teams may be facing. These training sessions will foster open dialogue, allowing professionals and practitioners to share the barriers they encounter when dealing with complex young people. During our sessions we use our lived experiences to help you develop practical, solution-focused strategies that will enhance your approach.

CREATIVE EXPRESSION
We incorporate creative expression projects as a therapeutic framework to support the emotional and social growth of the girls and young women we work with. These projects are specifically designed to steer them away from unhealthy lifestyles and behaviour patterns, offering practical educational and work experience within the creative industry.
Through mediums such as film, art, photography, music, and creative writing, our participants are given the opportunity to explore various forms of self-expression. This empowers them to articulate their thoughts, feelings, and experiences, raising awareness of the unique challenges they have faced and fostering mental, emotional, and social development.
Our creative expression projects provide a platform for these young women to experiment with new ways of sharing their stories, inspire fresh perspectives, and enhance their ability to manage emotions and solve problems.
